How to convert a Photoshop Elements .psedb catalog to Elements 2024

The Adobe Photoshop Elements catalog conversion utility appears only to work with catalogs with a  .psa file extension.

The Photoshop Elements 2024 import function apparently doesn't import .psedb catalog files.

Is there a solution or work-around?

Thanks

Correct answer Greg_S.

You don't need the conversion utility for a .psedb catalog.  Simply go to to File>Manage Catalogs and click on the Convert button.  You will then be able to select (or navigate to) the catalog you want to convert.

Thanks very much for the advice.   I couldn't get the convert function to list the catalog file, but tried pointing it to the folder, (which contained several other catalog files) and it work.    So got there in the end!
