Question

how to correct colour bias when printing

I am printing colour photos from a iMac to a Canon TR4755i printer but all are showing a warm/red bias especially on flesh tones. I am using Canon glossy paper but only have a generic printer profile listed for this paper. Other than individually editing each photo or using a more professional paper supplied with a profile is there anything I can do to correct the warm tones? Thank you.

Run your iMac’s Display Calibrator Assistant to make sure your monitor isn’t the problem.  It probably isn’t but I’d start there.  As for the printer, I read that the driver installer for your Canon PIXMA TR4755i installs 6- ICC profiles for different Canon paper types.  You should have access to these.
