How to donwload the full installer of Photoshop Elements 2023

Dear Community,

I think I have a similar problem to Anonymous of the post below.

I need to reinstall Photoshop Elements 2023 because of a launch Configuration Error (Error 11) after an upgrade to Monterey. I cannot locate an Elements 2023 installer but have a PhotoshopElements_2023_WWEFDJ.dmg file, 7,5MB, 29 Nov 2022.

Am I correct in assuming that this file will download PS Elements 2023 set-up, and that I will be able to use the full version by inputting the serial number?

Download and install the Adobe creative cloud for desktop, then simply ignore it. You can’t get “signed up” for anything unless you want to.

Do all that stuff I suggested in the earlier post.

Delete the gcc client folder

THEN

The dmg file: run it- it will start the installer.

Steps to Fix Error 11

Close all running Adobe applications and stop background processes through your Task Manager (Windows) or Activity Monitor (Mac). [1]

Navigate to your system directory:
- Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\
- macOS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/ [1]

Locate the AdobeGCClient folder and delete it completely along with all of its contents. [1]

Relaunch the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app or your product installer. [1]

Accept or deny the Adobe Genuine Service prompt if it appears, then proceed with the installation. [1]

thank-you very much for your quick response.

since my previous email focused more on finding a copy of PS Elements 2023, to uninstall / reinstall as prescribed by the Error, I wanted to this time, be more specific about the Error itself.

it is a PS Elements 2023 ‘Error 11’ i receive when double clicking the PS icon, after my Intel MBP OS was upgraded from BigSur to Monterey. I’ve enclosed a copy of the errror file.

I am a little confused because your instructions refer to an Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app or my product installer, neither which I have. I purchased a non-subscription copy of the software from an online store and downloaded it from Adobe. Similar to another forum member, at the time I registered the PS Elements 2023 Serial Number. However, now when I input the number in the Products page, the system responds with “This serial number is already in use” and there is no option to download it.

As mentioned, the only .dmg file i have is a small PhotoshopElements_2023_WWEFDJ.dmg file, 7,5MB, 29 Nov 2022, and was intrigued by another member (PS Elements 2024) who was advised that their small .dmg file installed the setup for 2024 and could use the full version by inputting the serial number.

From this perspective, do you recommend I try to solve this problem by uninstalling / reinstalling Adobe PS Elements 2023, or by deleting the AdobeGCCClient folder for which i have neither the Adobe CC desktop app or product installer?
