Question

How to extract both images from 35mm film that was accidentally used twice?

Hi All,

I understand the answer to my question may as well be "impossible" but I'm going to give it a try. I have old positive 35mm films from my childhood and I'm digitalizing the full collection. However, I'm running into a particular issue with a set of double taken pictures - i.e. the film was accidentally used twice and hence each "picture" is an overlap of two images. I'm a user of Adobe Photoshop Elements (version 10) and wondering if there is a smart way of extracting both images? I'm attaching a sample (yes, that's me in the middle). I'd appreciate any guidance/suggestions of the community.

Many Thanks!
