How to launch Photoshop Elements15 in Windows 10 without Organiser launching

Whenever I try to launch Photoshop Elements 15 from the Windows Taskbar or File Explorer in Windows10, Organiser launches instead and I have to wait for Organiser to finish loading thousands of image thumbnails etc before I can finally launch the Editor workspace. Bizarrely, when I open a .png attachment from an email it launches Elements 15 without the Organiser.

How can I get Elements15 editor to open on its own without Organiser when I just want to view and adjust one file? Any answers gratefully received.

Hi,

You can control the application to launch through the welcome screen (Help> Welcome Screen...)

In File Explorer if you identify the 'Elements 15 Editor' application in the Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop Elements 15 folder (ignore the offered shortcut to Elements15), and then pin the application to the Start Page and Task Bar, only Elements launches.

Why does it have to be so complicated??!
