How to move Photoshop Elements 10 in Windows 10 to new computer with Windows 11

I have been running PSE 10 on a Windows 10 computer for years.  I now have to move to Windows 11.  What version of PSE do I need to get and will my photos restore correctly from such an old version?  I do have a complete backup which was created from within PSE 10.

Hi Valerie.  Adobe currently sells only Elements 2023.  You are entitled to a prior user discount if you purchase on the Adobe website.

You should have no problem with restoring your full backup to your new computer.  This HelpX article provides details of the process.

 

There was a big change in the user interface between Elements 10 and 11 and things will look different for you, particularly with respect to People, Places and Events keyword tags.  But everything should transfer over when you restore your old computer to your new Win 11 machine.
