Question

How to replace ALL colors in image with a color on the image?

I have the image below. How can I replace it so it's just one uniform aqua color (a color I pick from the image itself)?

A simple clipping mask, tada!  ALSO: If you have a time machine you could travel back  in time to 1965 to a Dog n Suds drive in and pick some up- They were give 1 of these away with each quart of rootbeer....

@ChrisF62 , there are usually many ways to complete an operation in Elements.  Here is another which you may find a little easier than the one you link:

  1. Choose a color by double-clicking on the foreground color box.  The Color Picker dialog will open up.
  2. Hover your mouse over the color in your image that you want to select and click.
  3. Your selected color will become the New foreground color.
  4. Click OK to close the dialog.
  5. Select the Paint  Bucket tool.

  • In the Paint Bucket tool options raise the Tolerance level to about 75.  (Depending on the image, you may need to experiment a little with this.)

  • Click anywhere within the blue area of your image.
