How to save to TGA format

I've got Photoshop Elements 2025 and I'm trying to save aa a TGA file.

I can't find a definitive answer if it is supported in Photoshop Elements.

Firstly, as far as I can tell, the PSD image is RGB color wth 8 Bits/Channel

Various answers I've seen say use Save As a Copy menu option, but that isn't available

There is a Save: As a Copy option on the Save As dialog but it doesn't seem to make any difference. The only image types supported are

I've tried all options on the Maximize PSD File Compatibility preferences, but again makes no difference.

Is there a way to get this working or is TA image support just missing from Photoshop Elements?
