I am suddenly having the situation where I can't select more than one photo at a time for either changing files names or adding tags.  It doesn't matter if the files are continuous or selected individually.  Is this a Windows 10 problem or PSE 11 problem & is there a fix?

Thanks in advance

    Hi,

I can get it to work on my Windows 10/PSE 11 - I suggest you try resetting your organizer preferences: -

    1.Close the organizer

2.Using Windows file explorer, find the following folder: -

    C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Elements Organizer\{version number}\Organizer

    3. Find the following file: -

    psa.prf

    4. Rename the file to: -

    old psa.prf

    5. Load the organizer

Note: The Application Data/AppData folder on Windows is hidden. To find it, see Show hidden files, folders, filename extensions

    Good luck

Thanks for that. It worked.  It's a pity that I can't get Windows Explorer to see all of the tags that I created in PSE 11 only 3 of dozens appear.  I don't even know if all tags are supposed to be seen by other programs.

    Hi,

I prefer using the organizer to search for photos rather than explorer - much easier to use the tags.

If you do want to add all the tags to your photos so that other applications can see them, then do the following

    1.     select the images you want to update in the organizer

    2.     Go to the File Menu and select Save Metadata to Files or Ctrl & W.

There has been some reports that it doesn't always update all the selected images but it should give an improvement in Windows explorer.
