I cannot open fotos from smartphone

I imported many photos from my Smartphone (.jpg) in Adobe photoshops Elements 15. But I can see some photos only as a mask. They do not open. They are all JPG-files and I cannot find a different. Please can you help?

    Try copying the images to a folder on your computer and then import into PSE. When connecting an iOS device to your computer you may have to authorize it e.g. on the iPad or iPhone.

    Hi 99jon,

    thank you very much. But I imported at first all images from my smartphone on my computer always. And there I can see them wonderful. The next step is: Import from computer to PSE. The most of photos I can open, but some not. They all have the same Format: .jpg.
