I'd like some help with the following for MAC Photoshop Elements 25 (P.S. I've never had an issue with other versions on a MAC or PC. 1. I need the photo to open at 28% every time. Thanks

If you’re mainly interested in seeing your entire image as quickly as possible, hold own your Alt key on a PC and use the scroll wheel on your mouse.  Option-scroll may do the same thing on a Mac.

Thanks. I need it to open at 28% so I can see the entire photo before cropping/editing etc. I’ve never had to adjust it on any other versions. It’s annoying to have to do it every time I open the program. 

It does stay at 28% once I change it during one photo editing session, but then the next day, it’s back to 35 or something and I cannot see the entire photo until I adjust it to 28%.

If you are talking about the zoom factor:   I’m not aware how to make that happen.

You can easily just type in the zoom factor:  click once in the zoom factor (where the red arrow is pointing) type in 28, hit enter. 

You can also use a keyboard shortcut to zoom:  get your cursor in the zoom factor (lower left where the arrow is pointing) click and hold your left mouse button windows would press CTRL, MAC should press CMD) and drag your mouse. left or right.

My screenshot is from pse 2026, but what I talk about applies to pse  2025.
