I have a Mac Powerbook M1 Max. Upgrade day today ( 14/09/2029 ) I currently have Photoshop Elements 26.3 If I upgrade will I need to upgrade for Photo Elements? Sorry this is basic, but can't find an answer anywhere. Thx Mike

Using a Mac Powerbook 16 inch, M1 Max. With upgrade day today 14/09/2026 I use Photoshop Elements 26.3 IF I upgrade today, will I need to update/upgrade Photoshop Elements.  Sorry this basic, but I can’t find an answer anywhere. Grateful for help and a possible upgrade link>  Thank you  Mike

    Your asking if you upgrade your MacBook Pro to macOS 27 Golden Gate whether Photoshop Elements 2026.3 will still work?

     

    Good question. Although Adobe hasn’t directly addressed this or even commented (just a brief blurb below)) on their other software running on Golden Gate i strongly suspect that it will run fine.

     

    You could either wait on the upgrade and see if other users comment on how PSE 2026.3 runs on Golden Gate or actually do the upgrade and then you’ll know for sure.
