I install program and then it disappears next time i turn on my computer???

I have installed my purchased products adobe photoshop elements 15 and premiere 15, 3 times. they install, download and then i see the icon on my desktop as well as 2 folder icons on my desktop for these programs.

then next time i log onto my computer they are gone from desktop and gone from programs list.

Why is this happening???
