I just purchased Elements on the 3 year lease. Cannot get Camera RAW to install. It freezes up Elements

I have a newer MacBook Air and it runs Tahoe 2.6.5.1,

I purchased Elements on the 3 year terms. I tried to edit a RAW image from a Nikon Z 8. Elements popped up a message to install CameraRaw from there help menu. Upon doing that it does not install and freezes up the Elements 2026 program. I must do a force quit each time I try. I have tried 3 times.

I reset my MacBook to new again. That way any other Adobe applications on it were removed. I installed Elements. Then tried to put a NEF file in and it commanded me to install Camera Raw. This time the installer did come up and it worked.
I have a feeling some previous adobe applications from other versions was messing it up. Who knows.
It all works now.

Do all this and you should be good-

open the editor.
log out of the editor
Uninstall the editor

Reinstall the editor.
Open it.
Install Adobe camera raw from the help menu.

I didn’t think the first post went through. So I made this one.
I was wondering if I did a complete start over with my MacBook. Then there will be no Adobe files on it that may interfere.
I remember when I installed Elements yesterday a message came up and said installation failed. But then the editor opened.
If I remove it, am I allowed to use my download on my account page again?
I guess if it’s there I can.
This is frustrating.
