I'm using Elements9 and have got totally locked with a screen in Edit showing two blank squares.

One is white and has a heading 'source' the other is pixcillated and headed 'final'. If I hover the mouse over the right hand one I get the message '96.2%@(RGB/8)*' What is going on please? I cannot get on with my work. Its just locked and nothing i do closes it. Help.

If you are on Windows, press CTRL+Alt+Delete to bring up the task manger, then click on PSE and end the task.
