I have Photoshop Elements 2025 on am Windows 11 laptop.  I put a background behind a photo. I had to move the photo over to print it. How can I keep the background in the spot I moved the photo from?

Try creating your background first. Then go to the menu:

    File > Place

Browse to your image and import. It will be placed in the center on top of your background and you can move it independently of the background.Click the checkmark when done.
