I want the default save to be JPEG (vs PSD) in Photoshop Elements 2026

Is there any way to make the default save file a jpeg versus psd? I hate that I have to manually switch to JPEG each and every time I want to save a file. If there isn't, how can I submit this as a feature request?

​@fantastic_enthusiasm0471 you could use and do the Quick Export as Jpeg? Even setting it up in Preferences (Command K - Mac, Control K for PC) - Export - default to JPEG, even saving to a specific folder and quality level too boot as well.
