I would like to do a few instructional videos on Photoshop [Elements]

I would like to do a few instructional videos for YouTube on using Photoshop, to be edited in Apple iMovie. It occurred to me that Apple has a handy screen recording feature built into macOS. I can use that to record the screen while I explain what I'm doing.

However, I fear the interface elements of Photoshop, such as the toolbox, will be too tiny in the video when my 27 inch screen is shrunk down to YouTube size, especially if it's viewed on a phone.

So my idea was to change spaces in macOS and switch to a lower resolution. That would make the interface elements appear bigger, but I don't see a way to do that in Catalina. Am I on the right track here or is there a better way to do this?

Okay, I'm thinking of just dragging my Elements window to a small size and then just recording that corner of the screen. Of course, I have to just guess how wide the window should be, but I know I want to have the whole toolbox showing. Any better ideas?

You've posted in the Photoshop Elements forum but your query only mentions Photoshop.

Can you clarify if you're using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements?
