Hi,

What is the process to make and image transparent in Photoshop Element version 5 please?

Any help will be appreciated

The image needs to be in a format that supports transparency like PSD, PNG, or TIF.

Perhaps, but I've seen threads where somebody was trying to save a jpeg with transparency.

Philip,

It depends on the image., I assume that you wish to have transparency in selected area(s).

It would help if you post the picture and indicate what you have in mind.
