Images in PSE that I did Not Shoot safe to delete?

Hello,

While going through Organizer (PSE 15 Windows) I noticed hundreds and hundreds of images that I did not take.  Some like look they might 'belong to the program'.  Example, a pic that just looks like texture, or a color.  When I check the metadata, I do not see Adobe on any of those, so I figure they are safe to delete.

I ran across a few that had a big red lock icon across them.  When I looked at the MetaData there, I noticed that the creator was Adobe.  That being the case, I do not delete those.

I want to delete a big bunch of these types of images BUT, I am concerned that I might actually be deleting a part of the program itself.  Is that even possible?  A texture, or instruction that I might need later.

Is it 'idiot proof' in that the program will NOT let a user delete parts of the program?  I don't want to keep my eyes open for the BIG RED ICON lock mentioned above.  And, I definitely want to get rid of these thousands of pics that I don't want and that I did not conscientiously put in PSE 15.  Some our pics of movie stars, X-box, things that look like textures, book covers, game covers, etc.

How can I clean this type of stuff off of my machine/Organizer without accidentally deleting a part of Elements I might need?

I hope it is 'idiot proof' in that I can delete to my hearts content (while in Organizer), without the concern that I am deleting needed and/or important parts of the program.

Thank you very much,

Dean

Dean,

Are you expecting to save much disk space by removing those assets?

The only safe way not to create problems is NOT to delete them.

You may have excellent reasons to save diskspace, but there are probably much better ways to do so.

Michel,

Thank you.

I have been doing ask you directed.

That brought up one more question.  It is about stacks.  Lets say I put 8 images in a stack (lets call it 'Stack A').  Later, I find 7 more items that would categorically fit nice in Stack A.  In there a way to move the 7 additional images, and place them into stack A?  Thereby creating one stack (Stack A) that know has 15 images in it?

Thanks as always!
