Import HEIC Organizer Elements 2024 changes the file "changed date"

Hi,

Just bought Photoshop Elements 2024 and was exploring the Organizer functionality. I encountered a for me annoying functionality. When Organizer imports HEIC files, it changes the HEIC file itself as well which results in a changed "changed on" file property. See screenshot below (in Dutch, "Gewijzigd op" = "Changed on"):

This behaviour does not occur for other file types like jpg, png or mp4. I would Organizer not to change my file dates. How can I avoid this?
