Importing Acrobat Files into Photoshop Elements Organizer 2023

I am using a new version of Elements (2023) and I cannot import Adobe Acrpbat Documents. Is this no longer an option?

If you mean Acrobat pdf files, yes, a few years ago, Adobe did unfortunately remove the ability to manage this format in the organizer.

You can still open those files in the editor.

The only pdf format supported with the organizer is the 'Photoshop pdf' format. It's a combination of a true Acrobat pdf plus a true layered psd. That's the format  exported by the editor. That format can be opened directly from either Acrobat, PSE, Photoshop without conversion to bitmap. The format supports layers and vector layers (text, shapes). The main drawback is the big size of the Photoshop pdf files.

On the PSE editor side, if you want to 'save' your photos into Acrobat pdf, use a virtual pdf printer like Microsoft 'print to pdf', included in Windows, to 'print' to a pdf file instead of saving.
