Importing pictures from Facebook-chronology/correct sequence ?

I have a huge problem. I have been on a trip where I have taken a lot of pictures with camera, and some through Facebook (FB).

I have now imported all camera pictures to my PSE 13, but due to the fileformat problems between FB and Adobe, I have had to take all my FB pictures through Windows Paint first in order to be able to import them into PSE 13. So far so good. Now comes the problem:

- the original FB pictures were metadata dated to July 30, 2018

- paint conversion was done on September 23, 2018

- and in order to get the sequence displayed in PSE 13 correctly, we have had to change the date to August 26 (changed through PSE 13)

So the pictures now display correctly from a sequence/chronlogic point of view in our PSE 13.

BUT: We then want to export the pictures to a USB stick so we can see the pictures on our Smart TV or in one of these electronic photo-viewers. When we do this export, the sequence is totally wrong. The camera pictures are 100% OK, but the pictures from FB are totally out of order.

PLEASE HELP 🙂 - this is so frustrating !!

    Hi,

    Please try Saving metadata to file option in EO from File menu to save date changes that you make in Organizer. Try exporting them after this.

    And also instead of exporting to USB stick you can trying copying the original images from their actual folder to USB folder using Copy/Move to  Removable Disc option from File menu.

    Thank you for your support.

    I did try the save metadata thing, but it did not work. However, I tried exporting the pictures yesterday evening using a common base-name for the files -  "photo00" that may have solved the problem. I am doing numerous tests right now.
