I tried the Adobe chat to get the answers to these questions but my questions were never answered - perhaps a language problem so I thought I would try here.I purchased Photoshop Elements 2020 on line from Adobe on January 21, 2020. I installed it in a Windows 10 PC desktop computer. That computer died and I can no longer access the hard drive in it, so I cannot deactivate Photoshop Elements 2020 on that computer. As I understand it Photoshop Elements 2020 can be installed only on two computers. As I mentioned the program already is installed on my Windows 10 desktop which died and I can no longer access its hard drive. I would like to install Photoshop Elements 2020 on a new Windows 10 PC which I soon will purchase and on a Windows 10 laptop which I currently own.How can I deactivate Photoshop Elements 2020 on the Windows 10 computer I can no longer access so I can install it on a new Windows 10 desktop PC when I purchase it and on a Windows 10 laptop which I currently own?I have Phot

Hello everybody! Photoshop Editor in Elements 2021 doesn't run. In fact, when I clic on the Photo Editor Icon in the Photoshop Elements windows, a little wheel appears rotating with this text following: "Loading working space of Photoshop Elements Editor...". I see Photo Editor launching, opening briefly the Editor and closing. Then a windows open asking me which version of Photoshop Elements 2021 I have. Then I clic on the trial version option, and only the little wheel continue running with this text following: "Loading working space of Photoshop Elements Editor...". After maybe 20 seconds, that disappear, letting Photoshop Elements windows open. I work on a laptop Fujitsu T734 with Windows 10 version 1909 64 bits and an Intel i7-4702MQ CPU de 2,2 GHz. I know that the minimal CPU required is Intel 6th Generation, but I tried it. Can it be the problem? Every other component of Elements seems working, like Organizer. I use already Photoshop CC 2014, Bridge version 6.0.0.

When I go to open Photoshop elements 2020 photo editor it freezes like 2 seconds after opening and doesn't unfreeze sometimes it even slows down my mouse movement on screen, the only way I found to exit it when frozes is to end it in task manager. I'm on Windows 10 Pro version 20H2 and running the latest version of Photoshop elements 2020, that I got through the Microsoft Store. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the same problem was happening. The organizer runs just fine, it is just photo editor that freezes, I have also tried having nothing running in the back ground. My computer runs on a Ryzen 7 3700x, 64gb of ram, and a 2070 super, not sure if specs relate but im getting sick of this freezing.

I am a long time Photoshop Elements user, currently using the free trial of the 2021 version which I planned to buy at the end of the trial but now I'm not so sure. I've got a set of jpgs I've created, and those under 3MB seem to open without issue, while larger ones (7 to 10MB) give me a 'won't open due to program error' message. These are just photos taken on my phone, and it's not a top of the range phone either. The files all open in gimp without any issue. I never had this issue with my previous version of PSE (10, I think) but I can't use that here because I can't disconnect the licence from my previous computer. Is this specific to the trial version or is there something else going on?

Is there a way to stop Photo Downloader from starting at all?  I don't like it, and I don't use it.  Yet, every time I plug my Android phone into my computer, it tries to start, but gets hung up.  I have to go into Task Manager in Windows 10 to stop the task.  Then I can connect to my phone the way I like.  I'm running Photoshop Elements 12.  I love Photoshop, but absolutely hate Photo Downloader.

Is there anyone to delete unnecsarry JSON files in the FaceAnalysis\json folder?  I currently have 1237 files with 1078 photos.  The folder grows in files but, even if I delete un-wanted faces, it never shrinks. 494 of those files are only 1k.  Would it be safe to delete those? What is the worst case senerio if a valid file is delete?  Complete Corruption or just the loss a reconized face? ThanksCharles 

Hello, I just upgrade to PSE2021 and I meet problem opening PSE to upload clipboard: message "not possible to upload clipboard due to disk error" (sorry translated from french). Did somebordy meet the problem and resolve it? BROlivier

My version of Photoshop Elements 2020 in DutchI have an error message at some timesWhile editing my photos and closing them sometimes suddenly the error message light up:"The file is already in use or not closed by another application" emergesThis happens suddenly after I have already edited and saved several other files before without problems.Suspect this must be an error in my version of Photoshop Elements 2020 ??Does anyone know what might be the cause of that?Thanks in advance for an answer if anyone can help me furtherGreetings from BelgiumF. After the update Photoshop Elements won't crash anymore with my new Wacom Intuos Pro with Photoshop Element (no more crashing). But it only works correct when the display settings is set to 100%. But that is too small on my 4K screen. I changed the setting to 200%. But then, the Wacom pen click position is incorrect. I can't click to select a menu or tool. It won't work. Automatic settings won't work either.   

I currently have Elements 2019 installed on my home server (Win Svr 2016).  It works great and no complaints.  Could I install Elements on a Win10 PC and access the catalog/media all on the server (via a mapped drive)?  Or would that cause problems or is technically impossible?  (the reason I'm asking😞 I have a small Home Theatre Win10 PC hooked up to my large TV in the living room and would like to show my media there via Elements.  As far as licensing, I believe it's OK to install Adobe products on 2 computers, as long as you are only using 1 at a time (but that's not my Q) Thanks for any help - Bill   

I would like to be able to make the side panel in organizer wider and set that so it opens that way.Is there a way to do that?

Ive purchased elements 2021 but when i try to install i get error 160. I read on how to resolve and try to do this but does not seem to work. BY the way the support doc says look for the specific error. There is no place to see the exact error that I can see just that it is error 160, when you say ok it all goes away.  Later I try to start PSE and it gives me error 16. I try to see what that means and follow the instructions, but some of the folders they want me to changed perissions on do not exist. The message also says reinstall. However when I go to the installed programs it does not exist. Probably because it stops at 82% and is not installed. I saw one message that said delete the registry for photoshop. I did this but same error. And now when I go back to PHE in Registry it is not there any more. So subsequent tries are not re creating registry.Well you can see Im in quite a pickle. To begin with I think ??? I should remove the current failed instal

My Photoshop Elements is making my I-Phone photos expand once I open them for the first time (Mac) to hugh sizes (44" by 38") at 72 ppi/dpi.  Why?  I need 300 dpi to print a 8.5" x 11" fundraiser tribute book in June.  Any ideas to work around the problem? The 2021 vesion has o be the worst I have ever seen.  When attempting to edit a photo it takes the edit sceen 2 min 30 sec to come up then it does not load.  Terrible

Hi all - having problem loading pictures from my Nikon D700 into Elements 10. Running Windows 10 on a desktop.  Battery capacity of the camera is fine.Organizer sees all the pictures on the camera's card.  The pictures I want to import are then selected and Get Media clicked, and at that point I get the following message." Cannot obtain all the files from this device.  Please ensure that the device is connected properly, or that the battery is charged. The files that have been obtained till now will be sent to Elements Organize."Can anyone please help. In Photoshop Elements 21 is there a Spanish Language selection?

Can a purchased desktop Photoshop Elements 2021 once purchase is authorized be used without always having to be signed into Adobe account? 

I have run through manuals and searched Google and forum and cannot seem to resolve.  Maybe there are so many thumbnail issues its just hard to find. Anyway, why would organizer send the thumbnail to edit when I click the edit buttonin organizer instead of the original image?  Is there a setting I am missing?     I would actually prefer organizer to display images in full when clicked on as well.    I believe the thumbnails are there's because you may not always have your library connected if you're using offline discs to store.   But it seems like it would then just come back with an error message that can't find the image if location disconnected. Now I don't use catalogs couldn't that be the issue?

When I install the latest releases of Photoshop Elements 2021 (i.e., 2021.1 and now 2021.2), I no longer show styles and effects that I loaded previously. PSE reverts back to the default list. I have to load styles and effects back again by selecting the "Load Styles..." / "Load Effects..." from the applicable drop down menu. I can also add effects back through the Preset Manager, but when attempting to add styles, I get a pop-up indicating the style set has already been loaded. As I said, I can load these all back, but after each release, they are missing. What can I do to prevent this? Thanks!

I have a few old photos which for some reason are in orange. I tried converting them to black and white but they look like the negative (*not like the photo that can be printed from the negative, but the negative itself).My ability on PSE is quite limited, so I am looking for a relatively easy solution, if that exists or can be found (if it's complicated I will just throw them away). Thanks!

Would there be a client app (Windows) that can view the Elements catalog or is the only way to view the contents/pics is via the full Elements app?  Using Elements 2019 currently Thanks in-advance,Bill 

As stated, I need 2tb storage for my Organizer, so for the first time in 18 years, am considering external hard drive, although I would still prefer to have it all on my laptop if possible. Is it just as fast externally?  I have a new 4 tb SSD external hard drive.How exactly to I do it?  I obviously know how to Backup but what do I then do to Restore?  Thank you.
