Initilisation

Just bought elements 18, Downloaded but when I try to install says initilisation error. Currently have elements 10 & 12 which I have removed from pc temporarily.

    Hi,

    There is a known issue of VC runtime not being installed, in case if already an older version is installed on the system.

    If you are able to see the desktop icon created for Elements 2018 and use the product, then you might ignore the error screen and continue using the product.

    But still, you can see the error by clicking on the link provided on the installation error screen. This will give us more details about the error and help to resolve your installation issue.

    Also please share the details of the platform that you are using?

    Thank you for your response. I am using win7 64bit.

    Have resolved problem now by getting Adobe to remotely connect to my pc and install for me. Took a while but they were sucessful.

      Win 7 64bit. Resolved problem by getting Adobe to remotely connect to my PC and install for me. Took a while but they were successful
