Insert multiple images at the same time

How can i insert multiple images at once? Like by dragging them in in photoshop.

Elements does not have all the capabilities of the full Photoshop.  I know of know way to drag multiple files as layers into a single open file. 

 

It is possible to drag multiple photos to the Photo bin either from a Windows Explorer dialog or from the Organizer.  You would then have to drag each photo from the Photo Bin into the target file open in the Editor:
