install error code 24

i am trying to reinstall premier elements 2021. but it goes from 6% installed to 100% in a second. then i get a message saying " administrator privilege needed to proceed...  error code: 24"  what is this error code and why administrator permissions? this is just a home pc for personal use? thank you

Issue seems to be when I open ISO file as a disk image and instal directly from that ISO file.
Solution: You need to extract all the files within ISO file to your hard drive using any archive extractor (7z or winrar), once extracted right click to setup.exe then "Run as Administrator". That worked for me.

Hi,

 

To install the application on your computer, administrator permission is needed one time and that too only if your system is configured in a way to block installations without admin permissions. 

 

Please check that you provide the permission on launch of installer.
