installation freezes at 37%

"Currently installing Elements 2018 Organizer" Shows up with the only option being to cancel. Has been stuck like this for 50 minutes now. please help

    Could you please check for any possible errors in the installation logs.

    Logs can be collected using Log Collector Tool​ .

    Please download the appropriate version as per your platform being MAC or Windows, and run this tool, which should create a zipped folder on your desktop.

    On extracting the folders, you would find a folder named Installer, inside which there is a log file named 'Install', which you need to check for errors.

    This would give us an idea of what is happening on your machine, and we should be able to help you.

    Also you can try to install the software on a cutsom location, and please make sure that all the other adobe apps are closed while installation is in progress, as there could be some common files between adobe apps, which gets locked due to an active adobe app on system, and installer keeps waiting for that lock to be removed.
