Installation issues on a new Desktop

Hi...I have a new desktop running Windows 7 but keep getting the following issue....

Download seems to stall at 76% "Installing microsoft Visual C ++"

What should I do?

Go to Start>Control Panel>Windows Update and install the latest updates.

Then, retry the installation.

By the way, which version of PSE are you attempting to install?
