Installation "successful" but not working

Hello,

I work with Adobe Photoshop Elements 15 (Windows 10) and message "Installation completed successfully and can be used". (german origin text: Installation abgeschlossen. APE 15 wurde erfolgreich installiert und kann jetzt verwendet werden).

After starting Photoshop Elements 15 message "APE 15 does not work anymore" (german origin text: "APE 15 funktioniert nicht mehr")

This message occurs since last week. First approach was to reinstall and now those messages above appear and I cannot run APE 15.

Can anyone help?
