Installing Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premier 10 does not work

I would
like to run my Adobe Photoshop Elements 10

It requires
directX ???

I get the
error message:

"DirectX
could not be initialized. Pelase be sure that it is installed on your system.

Vou can
download the latest Direct installer from:

http://www.microsoft.com/directx"

I have
directX v. 12 in my windows 10

How do I
get Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 to work?

Can i
install directX v 10 on directX v 12

    Hi timod,

    Thanks for posting in Adobe forum.

    I understand you are facing issue with Adobe Photoshop Elements due to DirectX.

    Can we follow the following steps:

    - Click "Start Button"

    - Type "Turn Windows Feature On & Off"

    - Open it

    - Check for "Legacy Components"

    - Click the + sign

    - Check "Direct Play"

    - Click "Ok"

    - Check Adobe Elements

    Hope this works

    thanks for the answer. it worked.

    However, there is a simple little detail you should be aware of. For us foreigners, it only seems when we choose English language package in windovs. Only then can the change be made

    Try updating or rolling back your video driver directly from the video card manufacturer's site.

    thanks for reply. But unfortunately it was not enough to update all drivers incl. Graphics driver
