Interface issue with Lightroom 6 and Elements 21

For the last few years I have used Lightroom 6 and Elements 12 with no issues. I upgraded Elements to version 2021, and it seems that Lightroom would not transfer images to Elements 21. After waiting some time I get a message that lightroom cannot open Elements 21. The after the message Elements opens and the image is transferred. I have re-installed both Lightroom 6 and Elements 21 but the issue continues.

Have I got settings wrong or has any one else seen the issue?
