Invalid user id

I can use my adobe user id and password on the web. But when I try and use it in elements 9 it says it is not valid.

Thanks but that didn't work. This is what I get Adobe does not recognize my user id. This is very frustrating because I have the disk and box right in front of me with the serial number.
