invisible cursor

I am recently having the issue where I cannot see my cursor. It is only happening in photoshop elements. It is hidden all the time. It doesnt matter what tool is selected or where I am hovering, it is invisible. Can anyone help?

    Go to Edit>Preferences>Display and Cursors. Check "normal brush" and other cursors>"standard".

    Note, you can increase/decrease the size of the brush cursor with the bracket keys next to the letter P on the keyboard.
