Considering purchasing a new computer, curious about compatibility.    I believe I saw Windows 11, but I wasn't sure about the *PRO* version though?

I did finally end up getting on directly with Adobe Tech Support after a long wait, and they confirmed that Elements 2018, version 16 - was fully compatible with Windows 11 Pro.

I do believe that when new OS’s come out, they will go a certain distance back to a pre-determined edition of software to verify that any necessary patches/updates are created/disseminated to ensure compatibility with a new OS.

Obviously they don’t go back forever, but a ways.

Just wanted to throw that out in case anyone runs across this situation and has the same question.     I have Elements 2018 and it’s great for the little bit I do with it.     Was considering getting a new PC, but didn’t want to have to repurchase a PhotoShop product, so this was important for me to know.

Bear in mind that Elements 2018 was made long before Windows 11, and Adobe aren't going to retest their old obsolete apps with new systems. So we can get the evidence of people who are trying it (which is great) but we can't be sure it will work for everyone.

Elements 2018 is working on my Win 11 Pro machine which has been upgraded from Win 10.   I have also been able to reinstall Elements 11 on the same machine (using compatibility mode).  I have yet to hear any convincing evidence that any version of Elements will not work with Windows 11.   (I even have Elements 4 working. )
