item spacing in photoshop elements

Can anyone tell me if ther is a way to switch on the pink lines in Photoshop Eleements, the ones that indicate distance between items

The kind of thing one sees in PS for placing items in a project, to ensure they are equally spaced

    No i don't believe there is a way to switch on Smart Guides to be visual, although sometimes i wonder if they are on by default just the guides themselves aren't visible.

     

    You can experiment for your by aligning two objects and see the object snap to different places like they do in photoshop cc, just without the visual Smart Guides.
