Kann kein Bild speichern, es hätte zuwenig RAM

Question

Ich habe einen Laptop/Tablet für unterwegs, mit Win-10-Pro, 64, v. 1903, mit 4 MB RAM und Photoshop Elements 2018.

Wenn ich ein von der Digi-Kamera importiertes Bild "bearbeite" und wieder speichern will, geht das nicht. Es kommt immer die Meldung "zu wenig Ram", auch wenn ich das Bild stark verkleinere, auch die Auflösung

Leider kann ich das RAM nicht vergrössern, da eingelötet

An was kann das liegen? (das Speichern ist auf diesem Gerät noch nie gegengen, aber bis jetzt war das kein Problem)

It's possible that you have been hit by the Windows issue explained in that technical paper.

There is no risk in trying the solution to edit the Windows registry. Thousands of users had met the same problem with various kinds of error messages.

There is a way to insure that this is the real cause of your problem: use the menu Help >> System Information and copy and paste here the 15 top lines.

Otherwise, it may be useful to check your preferences (performance) to see how your scratch disk is set. You should keep the default value (70%, never 100%)

The 4 GB RAM value is minimal, but it should be ok for PSE 2018.
