Question

Keep dates from RAW file when saving as JPEG

I shoot in RAW and import into Elements. I make my edits as "Save As" JPEG, which sets the file's date created and date modified to the current timestamp.

I want to retain the original date created so I know what day I shot the photo on. How can I do that?

I don't see any options in the Save As menu related to date.

Your original RAW image remained untouched.  While using ACR the edits are non destructive meaning the original file remains completly untouched- as you are actually working with a copy of the original RAW file.

Ah yes - what I meant is I want the JPEG I generate to retain some date
info from the RAW file.
Like when I go through my JPEGs I want to be able to see what date the RAW
file they were created from was itself created.
