Keeping older version after an upgrade?

Hello all,

Pardon my ignorance, but a while back I upgraded from Photoshop Elements 9 to 13. I still have the two versions on my Windows 10 PC. My question is this: after the upgrade, do I need the keep the old version (Elements 9) or can I get rid of it without arming version 13?

    Both versions of the program are independent and can reside on the same machine. You can delete one. Suggest that you deactivate in case you wish to re-install at some point in time.

    I assume that you have populated the Organizer in.v.13 to your satisfaction.
