keeping photobin opened without closing in elements 19

There are so many different things everytime the elements get upgraded but a simple thing as keeping the photo bin opened at the same time while doing something is impossible.  I go from putting a picture in and when I add text the photo bin closes. I keep having to open it all the time.  Why can it not be just stay open when i want it opened.  Even when I click Show all Files, it still closes.

Are you saying that you don't want the tool options displayed? By default Auto Show Tool Options is on, so if you have the Photo Bin displayed and then click on a tool the Tool Options will be displayed and the Photo Bin disappears. This drives me nuts.

To turn off Auto Show Tool Options, click on the Tool Options icon, click on the drop down list on the top right corner, click on Auto Show Tool Options (there will be a check mark next

to it). Now the Tool Options will be displayed only if you click on the icon.

I guess Adobe  is maximising the editing real estate. Adding text creates a new layer so the focus of attention changes until the text is committed with the green check-mark but it is simple enough to click the photo bin button or layer button as required.
