Latest windows

hi don't know if anyone else is having this problem but when I open elements 15 organiser it opens but won't bring up all the small preview pictures. Then after a few moments it closes my computer down. I have a hp touchsmart 310 pc. i just bought this program tonight and have not been able to use it yet.
