Launch Photoshop Elements Editor

Hi all.

In previous versions of Photoshop Elements I could choose whether to launch Organizer, Editor or a launcher.

I have recently purchased the 2018 edition from the Windows Store and can only seem to launch the Organizer.

I have found PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe but don't have permission to launch this directly, even if I take ownership from the System of the folder it is installed in.

Hello,

When the Organizer is launched, go to Help>Welcome Screen. Thereafter, you can follow the steps mentioned in this thread to directly launch the Welcome Screen, Editor or the Organizer.

Re: opening [How to open PSE15 with the photo editor rather than the welcome screen?]

Let me know if you have any more queries.

Thanks,

Hello,

Please refer to the following thread: Re: opening [How to open PSE15 with the photo editor rather than the welcome screen?]

Thanks,

thanks for that, but I don't have the Welcome Screen (or the option of getting to the Welcome screen) either.  It loads straight to the Organiser.

The Windows store version is different to the regular version. It’s packaged contents software so it may not be possible to create a shortcut. But when you launch the Editor can you not pin to the taskbar while it is still open? If so you could launch with one click in future.
