Hey, so I know I had a reeeeeealllly old version of Elements from at least 10 years ago, but does anyone remember "ghosting" an image?? I'm trying to line things up properly from multiple images, and this tool was my savior - it was a really simple, easy layer effect (style?) that automatically reduced layer opacity to 50%. Now I can't even find how to change layer opacity! Please help! T.T

I'm not sure what version you are working with right now, but hopefully this helps.  Go into Expert mode and you can click on the Layers icon on the bottom right of your screen.  If you don't see the icon there, click on Window -> Layers.  In the Layers window, select the top layer to "ghost" it and click the drop down arrow on the Opacity to have the slider appear.  You can then change the opacity to 50% or whatever number works for you.  At that point you should be able to see the mulitple layers and move your image to line them up correctly.
