I have previously used a much older version of Photo Shop (possibly prior to 2010). I don't recall that I used layers with this.I recently updated to the 2020 Photo edition. My question is: Do I have to learn and use layers? Thanks fir any help. From: A dinosauer

No you do not need to learn or use Layers. But it can make your editing better.
