Licensing for the product has stopped working

I am working on a project, tried to open my Photoshop elements, and I got the message that "the licensing for this product has stopped working".

I have tried to contact Adobe, but it is impossible to find a phone number to contact them.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Exactly which version of the program?

    Mac or Windows and exactly which version of the operating system?

    Recent Mac AND Windows operating systems have been known to cause "odd" problems
