Lightroom can not open PSE 2022

Question

Photo in Lightroom will not transefer to PSE 2022 after Selecting "Edit in PSE". PSE opens but no file is displayed. Returning to Lighrroom and there is a msg. that Lightroom can not open PSE (although it had opened PSE). Clearing the msg. (click on open space) and another similar error msg. apperars. Clearing that msg. and sometimes PSE 2022 will open with the photo displayed.

I suspect the problem is with PSE 2022 opening screen. It does not open in the Editor. One has to select Editor among the options on the PSE opening display. This is a major problem for me. I have been using PSE 15 and the photos transfer from Lightroom w/o any problems Is there anyway to bypass the opening screen and open PSE 2022 in the Editor or is there some other way to correct this bug?.

P.S. Is there a Knowledge Base for PSE? I have been unable to find one.

That's many years that I dropped using LR and PSE together. The best way I found at that time was to use the Elemental plugin by Daw Matt:

You don't state which exact and updated versions of LR and PSE you are using. I seem to recall that I have seen posts about new LR versions needing updates to be able to open recent versions of PSE.
