Lightroom to Elements

I started with lightroom 4, then 5, then whatever is online. My computer crashed multiple times in the process. I finally got a new computer, have my elements program, but have delayed (for a year) uploading files. When I bought Elements, I thought there was a way to take my lightroom file and transfer into elements. I'm using more for photo organization than editing because I never got the hang of it, and I don't want a subscription to manage photos. I'm using Win 10. Elements 14.0. Lightroom whatever was available online 1.5 years ago, I think it stopped having numbers, but maybe 5 or 6? How do i bring my lightroom catalog into elements?  Thank you.

    In short:

    - Lightroom is still available as 'perpetual' licence as well as 'subscription' formula.

    - You can convert Organizer catalogs to Lightroom catalogs but not the other way round...

So, you have to migrate to the organizer the same way you would migrate to any other organizing software.

That means using Lightroom to write metadata to files, which writes your keywords, captions and ratings to the files themselves (or to their accompanying .xmp sidecar files). Then you 'Import' your files into the organizer catalog (you 'index' them, they are not copied).

The new catalog is quite manageable, since the search options work perfectly with keywords, ratings and captions, but you lose collections, stacks and version sets.
