loaded elements 2025 will not import

Just loaded Elements 2025 yesterday. Imported the first folder with no issues. Now import, create, nor buttons above do nothing.

Are you having any problems with the Editor or is it just the Organizer?

What is the resolution of your monitor? If you have a high resolution monitor, please show a screenshot of the entire screen.

I still don't understand what you mean.  If you click on the File menu, are you saying that nothing happens?  What happens if you use keyboard shortcuts, e.g. Alt+F for the file menu?

If you want us to continue helping you troubleshoot the problem we need more details.  Screenshots will be helpful.

 

Are you working with a new catalog?

Do you have auto sync turned on?  This is unfortunately set as the default and can be a resource hog, particularly if you do not have high internet bandwidth.  You can turn off auto sync in the Edit>Preferences>Auto sync dialog.  While you are in Preferences, turn off all Media Analysis and see if it makes any performance improvement.

Thanks for helping. But that's part of the problem. Import, create, file, edit, find, view, help aren't working. I have 1G internet, but all the pictures i'm trying to edit are on this pc. The program loaded a folder of some 500 pics on opening. I did nothing. Those seemed to go fine. But ocassionly I would try the buttons in the top left out of curiousity but no response. Then when time to import other pics I discovered none worked for real. I'll go to the support page you reccommended. Also I don't think there is anything to show you. No error messages, looks normal I think.

For future reference, you can contact Elements chat support by going to the Contact Adobe Support page. (https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen) Make sure you are signed into your Adobe account and try typing Agent when the chat window opens. (If you use my link, the chat window should open automatically.)  This will avoid the robo chat.

Thanks, something is funky. Still not right. This is rediculous. No control. Kinda worked for a moment. Import a file on one monitor and organizer opens on another with mouse control left on the original monitor. now its just froze. Very disappointed.

Well it appears to work ocassionally. Probably was b4 I reloaded, but as its rare I could have missed it. How do you get adobe support?

Opened organizer and editor on separate monitors. Now works. Go figure. Thanks, peace
