[Locked - Duplicate thread]PSE15 move! can Places be renamed and recognized under OTHER some how..?

I am another baffled and miffed PSE15 user I have 25,000 photos tagged from numerous previous versions of PSE 7, 11, 14 and now I just upgraded to PSE15 thinking it was an upgrade, what were they thinking…? My places file tree is now basically useless as I cannot add anything (tags) to it anymore, just use the existing ones in it. Years of tagging out the widow! I have little to zero use for the gps map tagging system what a time wasting disaster that is! My Places tree is/was right there, zip boom done. I don’t get the Map gps fascination, plus there is no way to make sub categories, etc. Someone spoke of the catalog manager for recently converted catalog changes...? Is it possible to convert my catalog and rename my Places tag and have it recognized under other Tags...? With all the years of building, so it still recognized..?  I really really don't have the time to create whole new duplicate tree under other and re-tag to an identically named tag there then go back and delete the old tag under Places and so on and so on!!!! Everything all over again..! Someone please tell me there is an easy fix to this. What are other people doing with this same problem..? I know I am not alone here. Any help appreciated

    There wasn't much discussion on the other thread so I thought maybe a fresh thread with a different subject title might generate some more responses that would answer my question. I have never used manage catalogs. Don't even know what convert means...? Convert to what?
