I am trying to create a logo and I am having a bit of an isssue everytime I start out to do it. I am going letter by letter by the way. Would someone mind lining out the basic steps for this? It is also importatnt to note this is a death metal logo. Thank you in advance. David

1. Go to File>new>blank file/. Enter the width & height for the logo, Resolution 240px/in. This will be your canvas. In the Layers palette, it will be the bottom layer.

2. Activate the type tool and type the text. The text will come in a separate layer.

3, Copy/ paste any graphic, if applicable. This will be on a separate layer as well. You can position by activating the Move tool.

It is not clear to me what you are plannng to do with this. It would help if you provide more details.

I attached a sample. I started it in 3D painter but I need to add some wording along the bottom

Use the type tool. Again, the wording will be on a separate layer. You can specify the font pt. size so that it will fit. Use the move tool to position the text.
